The Idle Aura Unit 8 The Ascension
Career Be of Good Cheer. Have No

Students make up a Time- Pie for the
triune balance of body - mind and Spirit. They meditate on the concept of
glorification. Being of Good Cheer and without Fear. Students
may make a list or Time-Pie of all the different life
experiences that they have had in their life: travel, sports,
housekeeping, sewing, fishing, etc. Then with their new Time-Pie
they can actualize something new in the spiritual reality of
character growth, within the living experience of sonship with
God, the development of capacity for service through new-found

Instructions to the Teacher The purpose of
this lesson is to establish a habit within the student to be
conscious of those thinking patterns that are out of harmony
with the truth, beauty and goodness that is forthcoming from one
who hears the voice of the Father through the Son.

would a man give in exchange for eternal life? For those who would lead the way, as the
Father's Ambassadors and our Master's Apostles Messengers and

old, was to spend three hours a day in preparation for the work
of the Kingdom. As an Apostle for this day and generation I
advise one hour of this time would be wisely spent in the
technique of approach revealed in these courses.

as the technique of arresting and focusing the intellectual
attention. He designated the mind thus aroused and quickened as
the gateway to the soul, where there resides that spiritual
nature of man which must recognize truth and respond to the
spiritual appeal of the gospel in order to afford the permanent
results of true character transformations. Refer back to

Be of Good Cheer If you learn today's lesson properly, you
can pretty well afford to toss away all the previous lessons in
this course - and, for that matter, any other course. Because we are dealing with human beings,
it is necessary to appeal to the intellect with fancy charts and
diagrams -references, and so on. Yet the simple man, rising at
dawn, working till dusk, eating simple foods - illiterate if you
like - if he has one small key to wealth, knows more about God
and the Universe than the intellectual could learn in a lifetime. The
secret is GLORIFICATION.
What’s glorification? It is the art of
getting up in the morning, glad to be alive, glad to be you,
hearing, seeing and experiencing the wonder of the creator
afresh with every breath you draw. It’s living in a state of
total empathy - with nature, with spirit, within yourself -
that, dear student, is "where it’s at". We could spend the rest
of this lesson just singing - but as the old computer must have
its pound of flesh we will elaborate. We are talking about setting up a
constant throbbing blue Alpha rhythm to underlie all physical
thinking, a symphony of sound as opposed to banging away on the
old beta, one note monotony all day. We call this holding an
“IDLE ” aura. PART II
CONCEPT AND TECHNIQUE Point to the black board - ID (the
natural being's material focus) controlling us destroys! PSI
(our Divine Monitor) controlling us enriches and leads to
eternal life!
In our lessons we have always tried to
stress the importance of mind control (or thought control) as a
necessary part of psyche and personality development. There are
many reasons for this - just imagine having a really powerful
radio receiver - yet not being able to tune in and out to
various channels - the only result would be utter confusion. As
we produce more powerful emotions, then it is clear to see that
we must learn to control our thoughts effectively. It’s fine to
build up a strong identity but likes and dislikes, unless
governed by a dominant innate sense of RIGHT and WRONG (PSI) can
destroy rather than enrich our lives. When the mind is at rest, the inner aura
remains at a steady shade, which gives constant feedback into
the second or spiritual aura which is like a pulsating rainbow
beyond the limits of the physical aura. This IDLE AURA represents the basic mood
of the person it shrouds - an orange
What we are aiming for is a deep, steady
brilliant Blue
You will see the reason why in lesson 1
and 2 we asked you to record dreams and emotional responses
during sleep, for in order to get the correct “idle aura” shade,
all disturbing dreams and memories must first be cleared out of
the mind that sleep may be un-disturbed by subconscious
pressures. Jesus said “Except ye become as little children, ye
shall not see the Kingdom of Heaven” - this is an absolute
statement of fact and applies to us when we are in the mortal
realm as well as when we enter into the spiritual dimension. E.S.P.
takes place at those times when the “idle aura” shade is a
steady blue, bluish-green or green, when we have reached the
triune balance of body - mind - and spirit. The more depth to
this shade, the deeper one’s powers of perception. It occurs
mainly during sleep but may happen at any of the other times
outlined above. After you have spent time practicing the
maintaining of a steady blue aura when the mind is otherwise
unoccupied, precognition, clairvoyance and other extrasensory
faculties will increase, till eventually one can reach the
topmost heights of spiritual experience. "It is to the mind of perfect poise,
housed in a body of clean habits, stabilized neural energies,
and balanced chemical function--when the physical, mental, and
spiritual powers are in triune harmony of development--that a
maximum of light and truth can be imparted with a minimum of
temporal danger or risk to the real welfare of such a being. By
such a balanced growth does man ascend the circles of planetary
progression one by one, from the seventh to the first."
(to be covered in ESOTERIC PHILOSOPHY course) The techniques of meditation, praise and
prayer, when properly applied create a
aura - thus allowing prayers to be answered. If by chance
you have failed to master these techniques,
go right back to lesson 1 and begin all over again to
achieve mind control. Unless adept in the early lessons,
frustration may be the only result as we proceed more deeply
into higher zones of cosmic consciousness. Read Isaiah - particularly the place
where Jehovah says “I am not hiding from you: it is you, through
your own erroneous ways that hides from Me...” How true this is.
Spirit is always there, willing and eager to communicate. It is
the tainted aura of human beings which makes contact so
difficult. Thus we have to find the right spiritual wavelength
through the perfected “idle aura") The training and advice of our mentor, a
Melchizedek and one time Planetary Receiver is far in advance of
anything else available on earth today. Every precaution has
been taken to build strong, logical controlled minds. Too often
we see “psychics” with emotional problems because of their
strong sensitivity and poor mind control unwittingly cast a
great deal of harm towards metaphysics through the misunderstood
and mismanaged use of this ability,
using these abilities in mystic tendencies rather than
the progressive goal of character growth, cosmic consciousness
and planetary service.
Here is our advice on mind control. We
suggest you make yourselves a Time-Pie ...and slice it logically
according to our specific requirements, essentials of daily
living, which will probably be different at different times in
our lives. A mother with a young family for example,
obviously needs to use a bigger slice of her Time-Pie in this
area than a woman with no children. Obviously, living in the physical world
as we do demands that a certain portion of our time be spent in
earning a living - then, personal family matters occupy a
certain place; personal development; recreation needs, etc. The important thing is not to let the
stresses of one aspect of life carry over into other areas. The husband should close his office door,
get into his car or on the bus and immediately concentrate on
gaining a blue aura before arriving home. Worry never solves
anything. Office problems will still be there next morning.
Intuitive Alpha thought serves to solve problems, not Beta worry
thoughts.
Meanwhile, the wife, knowing her husband
will arrive shortly should strive to be ready to greet him with
smiles not a long string of complaints. 'THIS IS EFFECTIVE MIND
CONTROL'. A trouble shared with your guide is a
trouble halved or solved. A trouble shared with another person
is doubled, for they will invariably respond by telling you
their problems. That is why we insist that when you come
into these classes you need to cut off the external world with
its mundane worries and rise above them. If students utilize the
Social Events and Training Sessions for unlocking a Pandora’s box of woes, others easily
follow, and we can never achieve the right vibrations for
personal development.
PART III WIND-UP To sum up. Try to simplify your life and
eliminate wasteful. time consumption. Make yourself a Time-Pie
and stick with it. When at work give all your time and attention
to what you have to do for Caesar. When with your family concentrate your
full attention on them. Go for broke in recreation or whatever
and when you come here concentrate on learning. Learn to give fully of yourself in
whatever area of life you are dealing with. This is ‘what builds
spiritual wattage.' Cut out as many frills and futile
activities as you can they consume mental energy and reduce your
capacity for effective living. Once again, this lesson illustrates the
futility of reading many books in the hope of somehow imbibing
spiritual power. Knowledge must be applied in service to your
fellow man. Such reading only results in yellow striations in
the aura, which is fine, if combined with blue to form the
proper coloration of the teacher, who must combine knowledge
with living passion for the subject to get results. Books make
fine guideposts but can never replace time devoted to sincere
spiritual exercise. Neither can they replace service. To love is to care - Is to ACT!!! God the
Supreme is a God of ACTION. Love is DOING GOOD to others. And underlying all thought and action
should be that “isn’t it great to be alive” feeling. It hits
your mind with a little “ping” every time you wake up and you
fall asleep with the same glorious thought “What a wonderful
universe we live in how amazing to think I’m a part of it all”. This course promotes not self-examination
and self-denial rather a new message of self-forgetfulness and
self-control. "He who rules his own self is greater
than he who captures a city.
Self-Mastery is the measure of man's moral nature, and
the indicator of his spiritual development.

2 and 3 Lessons Techniques During my first years in business, I was
working very long hours just to be able to maintain the
business. The fact is that confusion was burning a lot of my
energy and my time. I had tried different ways to cut down both
on the work and the expenses involved in personnel managing and
the business flow coming in. My business was finally going well
but I could not enjoy seeing it grow simply because of lack of
time. Then I was taught the Time-Pie lesson. I
realized it was an essential lesson in time planning. I learned
to value my time and my personnel's time with a more balanced
approach and got more results and more efficiency as well as joy
in doing it. I now work short but concentrated hours,
boost the sales of the company and still have plenty of time to
golf with the boys.
